A 2018-distilled Pot Still Whiskey, this 5-year-old expression is made from our own grain, a perfect blend of 50% malted barley and 50% unmalted barley, and matured right here on the farm.
It was aged in a first-fill ex-Rioja cask within a traditional warehouse on Ballindoney Farm. Tipperary’s mild climate and temperate winters provide the ideal conditions for producing a truly exceptional Irish whiskey.
Richly creamy with a peppery finish, this is a remarkable example of a classic Pot Still Irish whiskey.
Colour: Deep, rich dark red
Nose: Bright and vibrant, with a medley of green and red fruits, accented by hints of freshly toasted bread
Palate: Sweet and fruity, bursting with red fruits from the Rioja influence, beautifully balanced with toasted oak and tannic spiciness. The signature pot still character adds a distinctive oiliness that envelops the palate.
Finish: The fruit lingers on a medium-long finish, with a bold pepper spice kick that leaves a lasting impression.
